Feedback to Testimonial System — Survey to Google Review Automation
A closed-loop feedback-to-testimonial GoHighLevel workflow for a pooper scooper business: a custom survey is blasted to every customer, and based on the satisfaction rating the system either pushes happy customers straight to leave a Google Business Profile review or alerts the team internally to save an unhappy customer before the damage reaches the internet.
The Challenge
The client — a pooper scooper business — had loyal happy customers but zero online reviews to prove it, while occasional unhappy customers were slipping through and sometimes venting publicly instead of privately. There was no structured way to (1) collect real feedback at scale, (2) turn positive feedback into Google reviews, or (3) catch negative feedback fast enough for the team to fix the issue before it hurt the brand.
The Solution
I built a Feedback to Testimonial System inside GoHighLevel. A custom customer satisfaction survey is sent to the entire contact list. On submission, a Condition step branches the workflow by the satisfaction score: Very Positive customers are tagged and immediately emailed a direct link to leave a Google Business Profile review; Positive customers are tagged and nurtured; anything Negative or None-of-the-above triggers an internal team notification so a human can reach out and rescue the relationship before it becomes a public 1-star review.
Step-by-step, exactly how the automation runs
- 1
Custom Satisfaction Survey Created
Built a branded K9 Customer Survey inside GoHighLevel with a core question: 'Overall, how satisfied are you with our service?' plus optional comment fields.
- 2
Survey Sent to Every Customer
The survey link was blasted to the entire contact database (email + SMS) so every past and current customer had a chance to give feedback.
- 3
Trigger — Survey Submitted
The workflow fires on the Survey Submitted trigger, filtered specifically to the K9 Customer Survey so it only runs for this reputation flow.
- 4
Master Condition — Read the Satisfaction Answer
A single Condition step reads the satisfaction answer and splits the workflow into three branches: Very Positive Feedback, Positive Feedback, and None (everything else — neutral or negative).
- 5
Branch 1 — Very Positive Feedback
Applies a 'Very Positive / Promoter' tag to the contact and sends a personalized email thanking them and asking them to leave a Google Business Profile review, with a one-click direct link to the GBP review URL.
- 6
Branch 2 — Positive Feedback
Applies a 'Positive' tag so the contact is segmented for future nurture, upsell, and referral campaigns — kept warm without being pushed for a public review just yet.
- 7
Branch 3 — None (Neutral / Negative)
Fires an Internal Notification to the team so a human can call or message the customer, understand what went wrong, and fix it — before that frustration ever turns into a public 1-star review.
- 8
Google Business Profile Review Capture
Happy customers who click the emailed link land straight on the client's Google Business Profile review page, so the review is written in the exact place that lifts local SEO and social proof.
- 9
Reputation Recovery Loop
Unhappy customers are handled privately first. Once resolved, the team can re-add them to a 'Recovered — ask for review' segment and re-run the request.
- 10
Ongoing Segmentation
Every contact now carries a satisfaction tag (Very Positive / Positive / Needs Attention), which powers smarter future campaigns — referrals for promoters, retention offers for the rest.

A full-scale GoHighLevel onboarding for New Jersey's Holistic Healing & Wellness LLC — a growing outpatient counseling practice with 50+ therapists offering in-person and telehealth services. I built the entire lead-to-booked-appointment system: therapist onboarding, per-therapist calendars, 10–15 automation workflows, lead-to-therapist matching, insurance / specialty routing, appointment confirmations, no-show recovery, and a live booking pipeline — all wired to the site's free 15-minute consultation form.

AI Studio Vibe-Code Websites → GHL Sub-Account Webhook Lead Pipeline
An end-to-end playbook I run for clients: design and vibe-code a high-converting landing page inside AI Studio (Lovable), then wire its submission form to a GoHighLevel sub-account through a custom webhook using the sub-account's API token + location ID. Every external lead — from ads, SEO, referrals, anywhere — is pushed into GHL as an authenticated contact, tagged by source, dropped into the right pipeline stage, and triggers the full automation stack (welcome email, internal alert, SMS, nurture sequence).
